Eryn's journey to bodywork began at the young age of 14 when she was diagnosed with severe depression. Wanting to take a holistic approach to healing, her parents found a talented massage therapist and Reiki master along with an incredible Psychotherapist who worked together to treat the depression without the use of pharmaceuticals. Inspired by how she was doing, Eryn began learning Reiki at age 15 and completed her master level at 18.
Knowing personally the healing power of touch and massage, Eryn choose to study Massage Therapy herself in an effort to give back and share her experience with others.
She trained at the Cayce/Reilly School of Massotherapy in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Completing a 600 hour program and graduating in 1998.
She continued her education by enrolling in Charlotte Irwin's Reflexology Course 2. An in depth 146 hour course covering all aspects of reflexology as well as anatomy and physiology of the foot. She continues her education by recently adding cupping therapy.
Eryn is currently enrolled at Oregon State University study Psychology.
Eryn has had the pleasure of working at different spas, health clinics and had her own studio in Ann Arbor for 8 years and most recently the last 12 years in San Francisco. She is thrilled to be back home in Michigan to share her passion for bodywork with her home state.
Besides her passion for bodywork, Eryn is also very interested in movement leading her to learn and certify as a teacher of the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®. She finds that combining bodywork with exercise is a very effective way to manipulate and mold the body to what one desires.
